• Equipped with the AKM flagship separate DAC system “AK4191EQ + AK4499EX”: M23 adopts AKM’s latest generation flagship DAC “AK4191EQ+AK4499EX”. The DAC system uses a separate DAC system consisting of AK4191EQ which is responsible for digital filters and Delta Sigma modulation and AK4499EX responsible for analog DAC. In addition to separating completely different features of digital processing and analog processing at the chip level, the combination of “DWA Routing Technology” which leveles the individual differences of resistance elements to improve S/N ratio at the chip level. This is a new generation of DAC systems that are not only numerical improvements from previous flagship models, but also has been carefully made to show the texture. M23 supports PCM384kHz/32bit and DSD256 as DAP and USB DAC, and PCM768kHz/32bit and DSD512 when USB is shipped
• Implementing “DESKTOP MODE” with a large output of up to 1000 mW. The M23 implements FIIO’s patented technology “DESKTOP MODE”. This feature provides power to the dedicated Type-C port for power supply, and set it to balance output + super high gain mode, allowing you to achieve a maximum of 1,000 mW. The output and sound quality is close to the desktop headphone amplifier. In addition, the external power supply at the power supply port cuts down on power consumption from the Type-C port for audio signals, and can be used for a long period of time with less power consumption of the transmitter device
• Equipped with THX’s patented amplifier technology “AAA-78+” amplifier: The M23 is equipped with two (2) THX AAA-78+ headphone amplifier circuits that are co-developed by FIIO and THX. The THX AAA-78+ amplifier features THX AAA-78 patented feed forward correction technology and a neutral sound quality. You can experience the discoloring of sound and faithfully restored details on the sound stage and bring you the sound you are in the recording studio. The THX AAA-78+ has evolved into a second generation based on AAA-78 circuitry for the headphone amplifier to deliver sharp low-frequency driving power provided by 4 amplifier circuits per channel and further lower noise reduction that is not visible even in IEM
• Improved Audio Signal Circuit Design for Better Sound Quality: The M23 has been further honored to design audio circuits such as DAC, I/V, LPF, voltage amplification and parallel operation. The I/V and LPF parts are adopted 2 basis of low noise and high precision opp amp OPA1612. In addition, the voltage amplifier uses 2 low noise and high bandwidth opp amplifier OPA1662 to ensure high-quality sound quality. Designed to drive IEM, various headphones and headsets by enabling accurate reproduction of frequency characteristics and more powerful driving capabilities
• Equipped with 2 USB Type-C terminals and supports 30W rapid charging that can be charged 80% in about 1 hour: The M23 uses specially selected low resistance and rapid charging compatible batteries that provide up to 30 W charging speed. About 1 hour charge can charge 80% and charge over 8 hours of playtime. Proper control of battery charging mode ensures fast charging in a short time while ensuring battery life. The battery adopts a large capacity 5,500 mAh battery, and the design of protective circuits and material selection, ensuring high reliability, long life, and safety
• The 4th Generation FPGA+NDK Femt Clock Crystal Oscillator “Digital Audio Purification System”: The M23 uses a completely newly designed Digital Audio Purification System (DAPS) in a digital field signal processing circuit that requires digital signal processing. The digital data sent from SoC is precisely processed to ensure that the DAC is the most effective digital audio signal within the FPGA via FIIO’s proprietary PLL technology. Dual custom NDK femt clock crystal oscillators for ultra-low jitters incorporated into DAPS provide high-precision, low-jitter master clocks throughout digital audio circuits for clean, ultra-fidelity D/A conversion
