For sale is a 60 card custom deck build around cards from the collaboration with Final Fantasy. This is a gruul (green/red) landfall deck.
- This deck is an absolute blast to play. The deck features a number of cards from Magic the Gathering’s collaboration with Final Fantasy. The deck revolves around casting a number of creatures and spells with abilities that trigger when lands are cast, and then using spells to ramp out lands and repeatedly trigger these abilities, generating massive value.
- The deck starts by casting a number of spells with strong abilities that trigger when you play lands. These include Zell Dincht (allows you to play additional lands, buff with lands, bounces your lands), Gladiolus (+2/+2 trample), Rydia (loot), Sazh’s Chocobo (+1/+1 counters), Summon: Titan (buffs a creature based on lands), as well as numerous spells that generate 2/2 birds with a landfall trigger (Chocobo Racetrack, Sidequest: Raise a Chocobo, Gysahl Greens).
- The deck then adds numerous spells that help to repeatedly trigger these landfall effects. Zell Dincht allows you to play 2 lands per turn and bounce lands to repeatedly trigger these effects. Cards such as Reach the Horizons and Summon: Fenrir tutor for lands and put them straight into play, generating massive numbers of triggers, and Summon: Titan mills and then puts lands straight into play. This deck can very quickly generate massive value and overwhelm your opponent.
